VirtualWorld, is the precursor to a much larger piece that will bring multitudes of connected worlds together. We see this more often in virtual or augmented reality and now in hybrid environments that bring 2D and 3D spaces together.
Like your first building in Minecraft this work defines what my blocks are and how they fit together. It includes portals into the world, glimpses inside and the technology infrastructure to support it all. There are connections that link various parts of the world together and lines that reach out to experiences off the canvas. And for the first time I’ve incorporated obscured text to highlight themes that I want viewers to find. Cutting letters from a piece of paper and gluing them onto the canvas took me back to my school days. Can you find all six letters?
