A fairly grand name for three paintings but it gives you an idea where my head has been lately. They show three different scenes in and around the Clyde area. Whether thats in the river, estuary or Clyde inner seas, these are sights that keep me hooked into the landscape that has been with me for over 20 years.

The style is my usual palette knife that started with the dull overcast initial painting but by the last ends in a typical summer day with scattered clouds in a blue sky. You’ll also notice that the level of detail increases with each one including the further importance of smaller edges such as screwdrivers for the reflections and houses. Fiddly but rewarding.
