Welcome to my monochromatic painting using only ultramarine blue. It’s been a journey. I started with flowing lines for the fields and a static afro-tree that didn’t feel right but let me know if you want to see that :).
I painted over the lines with my stamping style and was much happier with the result. Just like Lights From Lunderston Bay, creating a lower resolution with the whole painting made up of artifacts appealed to me. At this point. I used the stamps in an impressionist manner to define the fields, sky, and tree. The last section to complete were the lines in the sky that I leave to your interpretation. Lightning maybe? I see a rough animation of a large bird. Either way, the lines in the field are a continuation into the sky to form a negative image.
