A simple view on the Isle of Skype in Scotland. We stopped the car while driving round the island for a quick break and I took a photo of a view of hills and fields with the sun off camera shining to one side. I went back to my palette knife tip textures to show movement but I could feel the chapter of this style fading. There was one more painting where I used this but I could tell it was time to move on.
