An early web site opening

Shhhh…don’t tell anyone, I’ve re-opened the maneshmistryart.com website.

I’ll be continuing to add my existing content to be as up to date as my Instagram and Facebook pages but it’s going to take a bit of time. I nuked and restarted the site about 3 times now and have finally decided on this setup.

I’m using WordPress and the WooCommerce plugin to help catalogue and streamline my workflow which has been a much better approach than my previous DIY attempts. Also new is my logo as it was needed as a watermark for the paintings. I used PowerPoint to create it and then added a new watermark in Adobe Lightroom as part of my export workflow (JPG, max 300K, 75 pixels per inch, 1200 pixels on long side). The images are small but detailed enough for monitors, tablets and phones. Rendering of pages in browsers is much quicker as well.

Putting these processes in place has already accelerated my update procedure even after all the practice runs. This gives me more time to add additional news articles and eventually short videos explaining my more complex and abstract work.

I hope you enjoy navigating through my new site and my paintings that will be living here…
