This is smaller version of a much larger abstract painting on generative AI. Generating artistic interpretations of technical mechanisms takes longer than actually putting paint to canvas as I’ve painted this hundreds of times in my head.

The ideas I wanted to show you include the left to right flow, the increasing level of complexity as you move along, compartmentalisation of processes, iteration and nesting of ideas, and showing how it can be initiated by a simple prompt then end up with a large language model supported response.

I completed the painting at the end of December during the holiday and was lucky to be staying near to the coast. Walking along the beach I was content to watch the waves, so they made it into this piece to portray processes.
